This winter holiday， I went to Kunming with my family。 Kunming is a very beautiful city， I think。 The sky is blue and the air is clean。 You can see many kinds of nice flowers everywhere。 The weather there is great。 Its never too hot or too cold all the year round， so people always call it Spring City。
Kunming is surrounded by beautiful scenery。 And one of the most famous views is The Stone Forest。 It is really scenic。
We just stayed in Kunming for six days， but I felt very happy， and I like Kunming very much。

How I Spent My Winter Vacation
The Winter vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it.
First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. This is really a special winter holiday for me，the first holiday in my university life.
I tried something new. I spent 7 days being a TA in an English educational institution. I was a TA for 2 foreign teachers，Nico and Eva. At first，I was anxious and worried a lot. You know actually it’s not hard to communicate with them，but I had to be with them for totally 7 days，and talked to them a lot. I was just afraid that they would look upon me if I made some mistakes. To most children, they are fascinated with amazingly beautiful fire works. loud noise of happiness, all well decorated in red, no one would sim*** sleep early as usual. It displays the attraction and strong impression inprinted in my heart which are hard to forget.
I always think winter is a monotonous and unfriendly season with no fun,but the time of spring festival is the best comfort for me to get rid of this mind.

I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday. But I didn’t. Let you to listen to my story of Winter Holiday.I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime!
I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!
During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation. But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed,because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.
That’s all, all my dull, coldly and snowy winter vacation.
During this period, in order to help my father lose weight, my mother and my brother made a weight loss plan for my father. Every night after dinner, our family would go to the park for two laps.
The park is very busy at night. Colorful lights, shining on the ground of the park, glittering like daylight, the center of the park is the most lively, some people skating, some people dancing, some whipping, some people walking, some people playing badminton, there are five pavilions in the park, some people playing chess in chairs, some people listening to the radio, some people sitting and relaxing, whipping. People seem to be very powerful. They hold a whip in their hands and swing it in the sky. It sounds like firecrackers, click, click and PA.
That's what happens in the evening park.

I finished my home work in one week. And I went shoppingwith my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve.
Myparents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinnerwas so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and Ivisited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went outfor fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday iscoming to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have awonderful winter holiday.
