准备一个国际英语水*测试，比如雅思。尤其有出国打算的孩子。准备考试的过程一定会让你的英文突飞猛进。
1、词汇
词汇书选购四原则：
a、选“看上去不烦”的，这本书你不会买回去就丢在家里面再也不看了。
b、必须有mp3，以听代说。词汇有两个方面一个是视觉认知的另一个是听觉的认知，对应的就是阅读和听力，很多同学都有这个经历就是听词的时候觉得好像认识却要想很久才懂，就是听觉认知不够。
c、有音标。
d、有同义词。从长远角度来看，要把背单词养成一种*惯，每天都会抽点时间去背。而不是想到才背。对于考试时间紧的，必须要在短期内，反复多次复*，减少遗忘率。
2、口语
a、找partner，可以练*听力和反应，最好是外国人。
b、利用雅思最新真题题库练*。
c、录音，了解自己语法和词汇的问题，并反复操练改正错误。
d、定期上雅思论坛或雅思老师博客了解最新真题变化并练*。
e、*时多看报纸杂志了解时事，为口语话题积累素材。要上7分，要求语法不能错，能够用复杂句式，结构多变，词汇也能够灵活多变。
3、阅读
a、阅读的一个基础是单词量，单词不够的话读书是痛苦不是享受。四级单词是最最最起码的要求。如果基础不错，建议直接看上国外报纸网站看文章，如经济学人或者*，每天不要看多，看一篇就够了。开始碰到生词会很多，感觉很难受，但是一定要坚持，碰到所有不会的单词，都要记下来弄懂。碰到不会的单词怎么办，查韦试辞典的在线版。
b、在每天坚持泛读的基础上，一定要至少用1个小时做雅思剑桥系列书的阅读题。注意做题过程中要做到以下几点（摘抄文章里生词，并牢记；摘抄好词好句；摘抄好的句子结构）。总之，精读和泛读相结合。
4、写作
其实写作和阅读是相通的，阅读提高同时写作自然会提高。
a、在*时阅读的过程中，一定要有摘抄的好*惯（你自己写不出来的词、短语、句子等）。
b、每天坚持用30分钟写篇文章，题目可以自定。在写的过程中有意识地用到以前摘抄过的表达。
c、作文其实强调句群而不是一个一个词汇地蹦出来，但是一篇高分的文章最后看的还是词汇和语法，因为这是*学生短期无法解决的问题，写作最后阶段可以用语料库来解决一下，就是一种语料库解决20几个题目，这样的话根据题库的轮换基本可以搞定。
e、一定要坚持阅读，只有不断输入，才有高质量的输出。
5、听力
a、如果基础比较弱，选择网上有代表性的论坛，从中间随便挑一个网站坚持练*听力即可。但是千万不要一个个都听过来。记住，开始阶段100篇文章听一遍，不如一篇文章听100遍。
b、过渡期后开始用剑桥雅思系列的书籍开始练*精听。如果觉得特别吃力，在前期每篇文章听10遍，再看原文，弄清楚每个单词的意思，看完以后再听10遍以上。或者做听写训练。
c、注意精听为主泛听为辅。泛听可以去找talkshow来听，譬如saturday night，在优酷或者土豆上都有。或者美国总统演讲，或ted（爱看英文演讲的同学应该对ted不陌生，每年的ted大会和环球会议汇聚了全世界科技、文学、设计、艺术等领域的杰出人物进行演讲）。优酷上就有ted专区。有iphone的同学也可以直接下载app。
这样坚持3个月，以后看美剧大部分时间不需要看字幕。英语学*最好不要间断，听说读写都如此。单词每天都要复*，阅读真题每天一篇，口语每天一个真题话题，口语每天要保证半小时的口语练*时间。
