　　今天，我从网上找到了一组怀化的老照片，这些照片让我很震惊。怀化以前叫做榆树湾，经过了几十年的发展，以前落后贫穷的榆树湾乡，现在已经发展成为一座现代化城市了。

　　以前，市委*大院就是一个大操场，最多也只能容纳一万人。而如今，市委*大院已不像以前那么小了。大院里有家属楼、迎宾馆等建筑物。市*大楼就更不同了，原来的市*大楼是很老的凸形大楼，而如今，市*大楼已变成一座焕然一新的多功能大楼。并且新的大楼还有电脑、传真机等高科技产品。

　　火车站的变化就更大了，以前的候车楼就是较大的两层楼房。现在已经成为一座高大的钢架玻璃形建筑物。以前的火车站因为客流量小和设施不齐全而非常冷清。而如今，火车站不仅客流量大，而且设施齐全，什么宾馆、超市、餐厅，应有尽有，显得生机勃勃。

　　小时候，我家门前是一片蔬菜地，地里面有着各种各样的蔬菜。我经常站在阳台上，看农民伯伯忙碌的身影，欣赏着五颜六色的花果，闻着阵阵飘来的花香。蝴蝶、蜜蜂、蜻蜓等可爱的小昆虫在花间不停的飞舞着，忙着传授花粉。到处都是生机勃勃，美不胜收。

　　我经常和姐姐一起到菜地里去捉蝴蝶、捉蜻蜓。菜地里有一条小道，我上幼儿园时，喜欢从这条小道上经过，因为我可以在那儿摘野菜花、捉蝴蝶。

　　我上小学时，暑假回家发现菜园不见了，取而代之的是一个个养猪场、养兔场。我不敢在阳台上久留了，因为飘来的是一阵阵粪便的臭味，使人感到恶心。我也不敢走那条小道了，因为小道上到处是粪便、苍蝇。路过这里的人都要用手捂住口鼻让人只想吐！
