Private car1

  With the development of society, people’s living standard has got great improvement. There are more and more people having private cars. Almost every family has one car. But every coin has two sides. Private car bring many advantages to our human beings, but it also brings many disadvantages to us. There are several reasons counting for my view.

  On the one hand, private car bring great convenience to us. We can go everywhere we want with a private car. We don’t need to queue for a bus and squeeze in the bus. We also don’t need to worry about the distance of our destination. We can make it without striking a blowing with a private car. Besides, staying in the private car is very comfortable. We won’t face the sunshine and rain directly and we can have air-conditioning in the car. Owing a private car has so many benefits.

  On the other hand, private cars also left many problems to us. The most obvious is that it joins hands in the traffic jam. As there are many private cars on the road, in the street, but the road is too small to hold them, so traffic jam comes out. Traffic jam affects everyone out. We all know that the off-gas from private car is harmful to the air that we breathe. Because of it, many people get ill.

  In a word, though private car brings pros to us, it also brings cons to us. For the sake of our human beings’ long term development, we need to use cars properly, take the bus to work more.

Private car2

  Nowadays, any Chinese can enjoy the luxury of owning a private car - if he or she can afford it. Having a car of your own means no more traveling to work on crowded buses or subway trains, and you can drop off the children at school on the way. Moreover, it also means that you can enjoy the weekends and holidays better, because with a car you can go to places where the regular buses and trains do not go, and so you can find a quiet scenic spot with no crowds.

  However, there are drawbacks to owning a car. For one thing, with the increase in car ownership in recent years, the roads are becoming more and more crowded, often making the journey to work more of a nightmare than a dream. For another, it is not cheap to run a car, as the prices of gasoline and repairs are constantly rising, not to mention the prices you have to pay for a licence and insurance coverage.

  Having considered both sides of the argument, I have come to the conclusion that the advantages of owning a car outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, it seems to me that China should increase its output of automobiles and enlarge the private car market. The result would be that cars would become cheaper, while at the same time the extra demand would encourage the auto industry to produce more efficient and family-oriented vehicles.

Private car3

  As we can learn from the graph, the ownership of private cars varies from year to year. In the year of 1990, there are only two cars among 100 families, but in the year of 1995, it is 10, and it goes up dramatically to 30 in 2000. Generally speaking, it involves an upward trend.

  There are three reasons for the change. To begin with, people’s income has been improved, more and more families can afford cars; in addition to it, the price of cars has been brought down shar*; last but not the least, various measures to stimulate consumption taken by our government can’t be ignored. All these factors result in the rapid change in the ownership of private cars.

  To sum up, with the further development of our economy, there is no doubt that

  more and more families will have their own cars.

Private car4

  With the rapid development of Chinese economic and the improvement of living standards of ordinary people, more and more private cars are on road. Some people think private cars can bring great convenience to the owners while others argue that government should put a limit on private cars. In my humble opinion, we should put a limit on private cars.

  First of all, the more private cars, the more traffic jams. If people stuck on a traffic jam, it will cost them a lot of time, some people even late for work. What’s more,nowadays finding a parking spot is much harder than before because there are too many cars on streets. Sometimes you just arrive at the destination, but you just cannot find a place to park your car. The place is so crowded that you have to park in other place which may be far away from your destination.

  Secondly, the price of gasoline and repairs are constantly rising, not to mention the pricesfor the insurance and the fear of being stolen. If you do not make enough money, you can barely pay for the fees of the cars. This can cause great burdento your daily life.

  Last but not least, the cars produce tens of thousands of carbon dioxide, which will create greenhouse effect and other serious environmental pollution. Some environmentalists predict that in the next few years, the ozone layer will fully disappear and will increase the rate of getting skin cancer. And the air we breathe in is not as pure as before, do we really need to sacrifice our future to enjoy the so called convenience?

  Due to these reason, I think people should think twice before they buy a private car. Weshould not only consider the increasing cost of owning a car, but also should think about the future we have. It’s not only a personal thing, but also the whole country, the whole world.

Private car5

  Many years ago, the private car is expensive, there are not so many people can afford it. Since our country has joined WTO, the economy develops fast, more and more people have money to buy what they want, now as people’s life standard has improved in general, private car is no longer belongs to the rich people, most families can afford. Owning the private cars has many advantages, first, people can save time. They can drive their cars to go where they want directly, they don’t have to waste to time to wait for the bus. Second, it is much convenient for people, they can drive their cars to go travel, enjoying the beautiful scenery all the way.

  With the development of modern industry,more and more families are able to have their own cars.But,seeing the problems like air pollution and the reduction of resources,some people appeal for the reduction of private cars.Still,I think there is every reason for the even faster development of the car industry.

  Thanks to the development of the car industry, we do not have to cram in the buses, but can enjoy in our free travel.With our own cars, we can go to more places in a leisure way. Transportation becomes comfortable and easy. But there are those who worry that too many cars may cause more traffic problems, serious:air pollution and the exhaustion ofresources, While these problems may be true, they can be solved and some are being solved. For example, we can invent cars that can save fuel or use other types of energy so that cars can still be used even though resources run short. To reduce pollution, people have manufactured many cars without pollution. We can relieve the traffic pressure by building more and more roads or-adopt computer-monitored automated highways.

  For all the contemporary problems cars bring, no one can deny the convenience cars bring us and ignore the effort that we make to solve these problems. Therefore,the development of the car industry is necessary, and it should develop as quickly as possible.

  大学英语作文:私家车Private Cars 4

  A kind of little car may someday take the place of today's big ones. If people drive such cars in the future, there will be less pollution in the air. There will be more space for parking in cities. The streets will be less crowded. And driving will be safer as these little cars can go only 65 km per hour. The future cars will be fine for getting round a city, but they will not be useful for long trips. Little cars will go 200km, before needing to stop for more gas. If big cars are still used along with the small ones, two sets of roads will be needed in the future. Some roads will be used for the big fast cars and other roads will be needed for the slow and small ones. It's said that three such little cars fit in the space now needed for one car the usual size.

  private cars高一英语作文 2

  First let us see the dark side, the disadvantages:

  It is obviously that a private can load only from 5 to 8 person, to be more precise, the private car we talk about limited to five passengers, the eight passenger type is what we called MPV (multi-purpose vehicle). To travel limited quantity of people we consumed significant high amount of resources in contrast to the Mass Transist system such as bus, train or underground railway. The frequently use of private car also occupy lot of space on the road and result in traffics. Accidents are proportional related to number of vehicles on the road and obviously private car owns a relatively high percentage of them.

  When it comes to private cars,it goes without saying that they bring us obvious advantages. it is generally thought that there are all kinds of benefits with private cars. to begin with, they are so convenient that we can drive them to any place at any time; in the second place (on the other hand), with private cars, our life will be bettered and our work efficiency will be improved; what’s more, owning a car symbolizes that you are a successful person in professional world; last but not the least, …therefore , private cars have great significance in our life.

  Just as a coin has two sides/on the contrary, the disadvantages resulted from… can’t be ignored. the defects of private cars can be listed as follows: on one hand, more private cars lead to deteriorated environment and noise pollution; on another hand, traffic accidents owe much to the increase of private cars; besides / moreover / furthermore, private cars contribute to serious energy crisis because of their large consumption of petroleum.

  My attitude towards it is that i prefer the above mentioned positive effects/advantages of/ brought by private cars overweigh the negative effects/disadvantages. i have at least two basic reasons to prove my point of view. first of all, the reason on which i base my idea is that more private cars will help to develop our national automobile industry and national economy. at the same time, if drastic measures are adopted to avoid the disadvantages brought by cars, we may have a more bright future. that’s why i’m in favor of the idea mentioned in the 1st paragraph.

  private cars高一英语作文 4

  As the development of the world, our country’s economy has become more and more better, people’s life standard has become much better, so people have money to amuse. Private car, once seemed to be untouchable for the ordinary people, now has been bought by most families. Owing private cars indeed brings people much convenience, but at the same time, it also has disadvantages. First, it needs to cost people a lot of money to keep the private cars.

  People need to buy a carport to stop the car, as it is known to all that buying a carport is very expensive, people also need to cost money to buy the gasoline. When the car is broken, it needs money to fix.

  A few years ago, having a private car might be a wild dream to many Chinese families. But today, you can see the number of private cars running along the road and street is increasing rapidly. Statistics show that one in every six families in big cities has a car. Some people say that it is good because the number of car ownerships indicates a country’s auto industry, which in turn shows the country’s general economic development. The fact that more and more people can afford a car demonstrates that people in China enjoy a higher standard of living than they did before. Besides, a private car also adds a new dimension to a family’s work, daily life and leisure activities.

  Other people think differently. They argue that having private cars may not necessarily mean a more advanced society. It may bring about more stress, instead. More cars would consume more petroleum, produce more air pollution, and thus aggravate the already serious environmental problems. What’s more, another problem remains yet to be solved. Road conditions being what they are esp. in urban areas, accidents become a common occurrence, resulting in thousands of deaths per year. No wonder cars have been considered as the number one deadly weapon in the modern world.

  I find some truth in both of the arguments mentioned above. I feel it a personal choice to buy a private car. If you can afford it and you really need it to get around, having a car is fine. But remember, try to use environment-friendly type of gasoline and take special care while driving. If you don’t have much need for cars in your work and life, there is no need to follow fashion or keep up with the Jones. Remember, when you cycle, you are living a healthy life and at the same time contributing to our environment protection.
